The Story So Far
Before the year ends, stop and look at where you've been.
21 days. Sunday 8 November to Saturday 28 November.
Reflect. Release. Reclaim.
You’ve probably spent far more time planning your life than reflecting on it.
Goals. Lists. A promise that this year will be different.
But have you ever stopped to look back at your story so far? The chapters that shaped you. The things you’re still carrying. The parts of you that got lost along the way.
Without that look back, next year tends to look a lot like this one.
So before the year ends, stop and reflect on your life so far.
21 days to reflect, release and reclaim
The Story So Far is three weeks of looking back honestly, so you can step forward differently.
Each morning for three weeks, a short email arrives with something to understand, something to notice, and a question to write about. A small group alongside you, and a conversation on Zoom at the end of each week.
Week one: Reflect. Taking stock of the whole story. The chapters that shaped you, the hard ones, and the ones you've never let yourself feel proud of.
Week two: Release. Letting go of what that looking back brings up. An old regret. A role you've outgrown. A should you never actually chose.
Week three: Reclaim. Beginning the chapters still ahead, on purpose rather than by default.
Who this is for
This is for you if life has been moving fast and you haven't stopped to look at it in a long time.
If you've done well by most measures, and still have a sense that something got left behind along the way.
If there's a version of you that everyone knows, and another you rarely let anyone see.
If you're at a turning point. A birthday that made you think. Children growing up. A change at work. A chapter closing.
Or if it's simply been a full year, good in places and hard in others, and you'd like to take proper stock of it before the next one begins.
Where you'll be by the end
By Day 21 you won’t have rewritten your story. That isn’t what this is for.
But you’ll have looked back at the chapters that shaped you, honestly, perhaps for the first time. You’ll have put down something you didn’t need to keep carrying. You’ll have begun to find your way back to a part of you that got lost along the way. And you’ll know what you want the next chapter to be about.
Some people finish lighter and settled. Some finish knowing there’s a chapter they want to go back to properly. Both are good endings.
How it works
It starts on Sunday 8 November and finishes on Saturday 28 November.
Each morning's email takes around twenty minutes, and has three parts:
- Something to understand. A short reflection on the day's theme, to help you see your own story more clearly.
- Something to carry with you. A prompt to take into your day, so the reflecting carries on after you close the email.
- Something to write. A question to sit with in your own notebook. Nobody sees it but you.
If you miss a morning, it waits in your inbox until you're ready.
You'll also join a private WhatsApp group, where you can share what that morning's question brought up for you, or respond to someone else's thoughts. I'll be in there too, adding extra thoughts along the way and encouraging you in yours.
At the end of each week we meet on Zoom to talk about what that week brought up, with a choice of Friday evening or Saturday morning. Join whichever suits you. You can talk, or just listen.
Why I made this
I spent years arriving back at the same place before I understood why. What finally changed things wasn't a better plan for the future. It was looking honestly at where I'd been.
The Story So Far is the beginning of that work, made simple enough to fit around a full life. Twenty minutes a morning, a few people alongside you, and room to see your own story clearly.
What it costs
£49. That covers all 21 mornings, the WhatsApp group, and the weekly Zoom conversations.
If you finish wanting to go further, the full £49 comes off the eight-week group when you join within a month.
Save your place
We start on Sunday 8 November.
Add your details and I'll send you a welcome email with everything you need: how to pay, the Zoom times, and the link to the WhatsApp group.
